The Craftsman Series
Advantage
The Craftsman Series represents the future of what we
think unfinished hardwood flooring will become. It gives
the installer 3/16" of solid hardwood wear layer
which is comparable to the 1/4" wear layer of most
solid wood floors. In addition to this wear layer, the
flooring has added stability due to its 10-ply backing.
The result is a 5/8" thick product that can be
nailed or glued down. Because we only use sawn cut veneers,
the floor will look just like a solid wood floor but
with much more versatility. Following proper installation
this product performs well glued directly to a slab
which eliminates the need for a seperate subfloor installation
as well as any large transitions from wood to tile or
carpet. Lets be honest, for years solid wood flooring
installers have been building engineered floors on site
by first putting down plywood and then attaching a hardwood
layer. Why not put your plywood and hardwood down at
the same time? The Craftsman Series allows the installer
to use a real wood floor in settings that solid naild
down is not recommended such as below grade with the
ability to custom finish to specification. Whether in
jewelry, woodwork, or flooring being a craftsman is
determined by two things: First the skill of the worker
and second by the quality of his raw materials. We've
done our best to put the highest quality material in
your hands...the rest is up to you. |
